TAAN THAI (literally translated to tasting Thai) is more than just a meal kit brand - it's a celebration of the vibrant street food culture that Thailand is known for. TAAN THAI started with three co-founders who wanted to make authentic Thai food easy and accessible to everyone. This core concept of TAAN THAI came from a shared experience that we have. We lived abroad, both in the US and Europe, for more than 10 years altogether. Cooking Thai food at home was our way of curing homesickness, as well as introducing Thai culture to new friends. However, we always struggled to find the right Thai food ingredients on the market. Either it was not at all authentic, required too many ingredients that were all hard to find, or came in a larger portion than we needed. Our personal struggle thus gave birth to TAAN THAI products, authentic Thai food cooking kits that are easy to cook and easy to keep at home.
