Lacking an idea to get rid of those pumpkin pieces after making the pie for Thanksgiving dinner? We have a brillant solution for you. Introducing Pumpkin Tom Kha Soup, using our TAAN THAI Mix for perfect taste, of course!
Pumpkin is NOT a traditional ingredient in Tom Kha. However, it's worth a try since there are some leftovers after Thanksgiving weekend anyway. So, we experimented with this recipe and it turned out so much better than what we expected since the pumpkin added a unique flavor and texture to the Tom Kha soup, making it a bit more startchy and yellow-ish than the traditional Tom Kha.
Ingredients
- TAAN THAI Tom Kha Mix
- Pumpkin
- Mushroom
- 250-300g of Protein of choice (we use chicken in this VDO)
Instructions
- Boil 350 ml of water in a pot.
- Once the water is boiled, add chicken and pumpkin to the pot.
- Wait until the chicken is almost cooked, add mushroom and TAAN THAI Tom Kha Mix.
- Stir well and wait until the mushroom is cooked.
- Ready to serve in less than 10 minutes!
