TAAN THAI

I just made the thai tea and as soon as I put the condensed milk in, it became that iconic color I've become used to seeing! It tasted just like thai teas I've had in restaurants! I would personally next time only use one tablespoon of condensed milk though haha, but now I know how to make it and will be putting in an order for this as well!

I have never had Tom Kha. I'm so sad I've been missing out!! I got this as a sample size and it was so good!! I am a fan and will be trying this the next time I order thai food! I will definitely order from this company again! I also got a sample size of thai tea that I haven't tried yet, but if the Tom Kha and Pad Kra Pao are this good, I have no doubt that the tea will be just as good! I didn't have any meat or veggies I wanted to add to this soup, I just wanted to taste the broth and from now on, when I'm feeling sick or just want some soup, this will be my go-to! I can't wait to try other products from this company!!!

I saw an invitation to try some sample sizes on Reddit and immediately was like "yes I'll try it!!" I'm so glad I did!!! This pad kra pao was sooo good! I love making thai food from scratch at home, but for those days, I don't want to drive to the store for specific ingredients, I know that I could just use a package of this and it will taste amazing!! I can't wait to order some more!! My grocery store didn't have any ground pork, so I diced some pork cutlets and made it with that. I added more garlic and frozen thai chilis I had and it was spicy but delicious!

I'm so surprised at the flavor, but also how easy it is to make this! I added more Thai chilli's and holy basil and just finished! Look forward to being more of the recipe packs.

I frequently make Thai food, and was very excited to try the pad kra pao! I used ground chicken instead of pork, and followed the instructions, including adding the fried egg on top at the end. The package is a powder, not a sauce, but it dissolves well into the protein after you cook it. The basil stems were a little hard, but if you soak them in a bit of water, or add a little water with the dish, it will likely soften them up and mitigate that problem. It was incredibly flavorful, and I only added a small amount of fish sauce at the end for a bit more of that flavor. For those who want easy to make Thai food without needing all the specialty ingredients, I would definitely recommend this product.

However, to achieve its signature bright orange color and authentic taste, adding a sweetener like sugar, milk, or sweetened condensed milk is essential. The sweetened condensed milk, in particular, not only transforms the color to that signature orange hue but also adds the creamy, sweet richness Thai tea is famous for.

Yesterday, when there were floods in Chiang Mai, I had a chance to taste authentic TAAN THAI pad kra pao with the Basil fried corn menu. It is very easy to make. Just put a pan on the stove, add oil, add corn 🌽, add extra chili (I like the spicy taste) 🌶 , and of course, add the TAAN THAI pad kra pao and stir fry for a while. I enjoyed the corn basil with a cold beer.
And the next menu is Khao Soi 🍜🤤

The most important thing is that it can be carried anywhere because it's a small size. LOVE IT!!!!

Tom Kha is one of my go-to orders especially when getting delivery or take-out. In my opinion, Taan Thai's version is every bit as good as the restaurants I frequent. It has that perfect tart punch that I crave a lot and overall, makes a very savory broth. I included chicken in my Tom Kha and poured it all over rice, which made it a very satisfying meal. I actually included both packets when boiling in a larger pot with more water and I was easily able to reheat the leftover soup. I could never attempt to make this on my own so the convenience of Taan Thai's kit is a big plus. Will be rebuying and recommending to others!

Pad Kra Pao is a staple dish in Thai communities in Thailand and abroad. It's also the food I miss the most while staying in the US. A lot of Thai restaurants around here have their own take on Pad Kra Pao, unlike what I'm used to back in Thailand, but this product is exactly what I've been looking for. It's easy, tasty, and authentic!
